How long does the cookie dough last?
You can keep Cookie Crumbles dough in your freezer for up to a year and in your fridge for up to three months.
How do I bake the cookies?
For optimum results, let the dough sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Roll the dough into balls (don’t press down) and drop onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350 F for 10 to 12 minutes depending on your oven. If you take them out right before they look done and let them rest for a few minutes at room temperature, the results will be a nice, soft and chewy cookie. If you like your cookies a little crunchy, simply bake them a little longer.
Following are some variety specific instructions:
Gingersnaps – are more attractive if rolled in sugar before baking.
Shortbread – For thin wafer shortbread, you can roll it out and press down. You can also roll them out and cut them, but you will need a bit of flour on your board.
I’m a vegetarian. What kind of shortening do you use?
We always use all vegetable shortening and our dough never contains animal by-products.
Do you sell your dough in case lots?
No. We deliver only what you have sold and never a pail more.
Do you ship your dough?
No, but we personally deliver the dough to your club, group or organization.
